Step Back Please

There was a haphazard line at the pick-up window inside my local Walgreens pharmacy and I waited my turn well back from the counter. The gal behind the counter was discussing a drug order and the various costs with her immediate customer. He apparently had to make a choice about which prescriptions to pick up due to costs. Gum—So Many Choices!

I find myself chewing a lot more gum lately. We used to have so few choices and now— there are almost too many to choose from. But really, maybe it’s the wrapper and the box. I particularly like the wrappers of Wrigley’s 5 and I save them. I like the wallets gum comes in today and I want the standard size stick that we all grew up with not the itty-bitty one.
